The Linear eMerge Essential Plus ES-1M is an embedded browser-based access control system that combines both software and hardware in a self-contained appliance. Designed for entry-level applications with future-proof scalability, it supports one door and two readers out of the box, with the capability to scale up to four doors and eight readers using software license keys - no additional hardware is required. The system enables remote management, user control, reporting, and real-time monitoring through any standard web browser, eliminating the need for dedicated software or client installations. With its industrial-grade metal enclosure and integrated 12VDC power supply, the ES-1M offers a solid foundation for professional-grade access control in commercial, healthcare, hospitality, and other secure environments.

This unit shares the same core architecture as the larger eMerge E3-Series platforms, making it easy to scale into higher-capacity systems when needed. It features a secure embedded Linux operating system, minimizing vulnerability to viruses and eliminating operating system update dependency. With up to eight simultaneous system users and transaction handling speeds exceeding 30 transactions per second, the ES-1M provides responsive and efficient performance. Its intuitive setup wizard and mobile device compatibility make installation and daily operation quick and convenient for both administrators and technicians.
