This Linear/Osco 5 ft. safety edge is made for easy and flexible installation without the need for a mounting channel. It is ideal for 2 in. round posts and includes a round cover. Using a safety edge is a great way to protect entrapment zones surrounding a gate opener system. When an obstacle in the path of the moving gate comes in contact with the safety edge, it triggers the system to stop or reverse motion. This safety device is UL325-compliant and features 3-sided sensitivity.
